Ingredients

200 grams makhana, 1 teaspoon ghee, 2 teaspoons jaggery

Steps to prepare 

Roast the makhana in ghee first. Take some water in another pan, heat it and melt the jaggery so that it becomes liquid. Keep in mind that the water should not be too much. Ingredients 

Makhana, boiled potato – 1, curd – 1 cup, half cup pomegranate, pinch black pepper, roasted raisins (optional), chaat masala, lemon juice, coriander leaves for garnishing. 

Steps to prepare

To make this, soak the makhana for 30 minutes or dry roast it on the gas for 2 minutes. If you want crunchy chaat then roast it and if you want normal chaat then keep the makhana in water. To make makhana sabzi, first of all finely chop the onion. Now put poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, 2 onions, and cashew nuts in the pressure cooker. Add water to it, close the cooker and cook it for 2 whistles. After this let the cooker cool down. When the pressure of the cooker is released, take out all the ingredients and make a paste by grinding it with the help of a mixer. Take out this paste in a bowl and keep it aside.

Now take a wok, add ghee, and heat it on medium flame. When the ghee melts, add makhana to it and fry them till they become hard. After this, take out the makhana and keep it aside in a bowl. Now put oil in the pan and heat it on medium flame. 

When the oil becomes hot, add cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, and cardamom. Then fry for about a minute while stirring with a ladle. Now add chopped green chilies and one chopped onion and fry it. Let the onion cook till it becomes soft, then add green peas to it and let it fry.
